About Us
Oxbow Performance Horses offers a safe and comfortable environment for horse lovers of all ages and riding levels to learn new skills and develop their existing skills of horsemanship. Established in 2017, OPH is a family owned and operated business located on the beautiful Knife River in the heart of North Dakota. We have multiple turn-outs and indoor stabling available. OPH has a beautiful outdoor sand arena and lots of outdoor riding.
Meet the Trainer
Tandra Klein Thrall has been training and starting horses for 20 years and has been riding and showing since she was 5 years old with much success. She has recieved many National Championships in Hunter Under Saddle, Western Pleasure and Showmanship. She has also showed hunters/jumpers in both the U.S. and Canada. Tandra has shown dressage and schooled up to 3rd level. She has grown up showing 4-H, open shows, AQHA, APHA, ApHC, and IHSA. Tandra also competed in college on the UMC NCAA Equestrian Team. She competed for UMC in California Semi Finals in Reining and finished in the top half of the class. She finished her internship at Vesey Equine Center in 2010. During her internship she mostly worked with reiners and working cow horses. She specializes in colt starting, finishing, conditioning, and barrel racing. Currently, Tandra competes at the local and pro rodeo level. She is a current card holder for the INFR. Tandra is very active 4-H equine leader and loves giving lessons.
